If you like horses, own a horse, used to own a horse, or plan to own a horse, membership in the Wisconsin Morgan Horse Club will benefit you. Our members are extremely knowledgeable horse people across all disciplines and that knowledge translates to every horse endeavor. We also organize and put on more than a dozen "hands-on" horse events throughout the year. Individual membership is only $25 per year and youth membership is $10. Our membership year runs from January 31st to January 30th, but you can join anytime. A complete membership application is available to download.

Horse Show: We put on a first class horse show every year in June which covers all disciplines and age groups and includes open classes. It is a great forum to learn about the different disciplines and give horses and riders a fun, low key way to build their skills. Volunteers are welcome and needed to man the gates and help the ringmaster.
Parades: We have a very active Parade Unit that appears in 6-8 regional parades (Circus Parade, Who-Zha-Wa, Witwen, Cranberry Festival, Holiday Lights Parade, etc.) from May to November. In addition to riders, the Parade Unit welcomes volunteers to side walk and carry our club banner. If you would like to ride in a parade or have your horse learn to participate in a parade unit, there are several short parades that are a good first opportunity and very experienced parade riders who can help you work with your horse to get it ready.
Midwest Horse Fair: We represent the Morgan breed at the annual Midwest Horse Fair in Madison each year in April. Our Morgan participants and their owners are available in the barns to meet the public, along with a hospitality booth with information, videos, and books on the Morgan breed's abilities and history, drawings for Breyer horse models and other prizes. We always need volunteers to staff the booth and help with set up and take down.
Trail Rides: We organize trail rides throughout the year at some of the many wonderful trails in the area.
Club Demos and Seminars: We set up a club booth with an equine representative at various events, such as the Baraboo Circus Celebration, Field Day, and youth events to introduce our wonderful breed to the public and showcase the Morgan's unique personality and abilities. From time to time, we also sponsor clinics on topics of general interest.
