High point awards will be for High Point Morgan, Open Horse, Jr. Exhibitor, and Sr. Exhibitor.
Our three new classes from 2017 are back: A Gamblers Choice driving class, an English Go As You Please class and a Western Go As You Please class. The Go As You Please classes are pleasure classes judged on the horse/pony, to be shown both ways of the ring at a walk and “go as you please”. Go as You Please is whatever gait you think your horse does the best. You choose to trot, canter, pace, running walk or whatever gait your horse does best. Horses are judged on manners, way of going, and responsiveness to the rider. Formal attire is NOT required for these two classes, however, long pants, shirts with sleeve and boots with heels ARE required (no tennis shoes, shorts or ball caps).
Ring Judge: Karen Gauger
Sponsorship: A large part of the financial success of the show depends on sponsorship. A $100 sponsorship entitles the sponsor to have their name announced with four classes and also to display a banner that the Sponsor provides in the show ring. Individual class sponsorships are $25 and High Point and Championship Class Sponsorships are $35.
Proceeds from the show benefit Veterans Equine Trail Service (V.E.T.S.) and LifeStriders Therapeutic Riding Center.
